United Energy LNG and Power LNG Merger Targets Small-Scale LNG Market in North America

The merger between United Energy LNG and Power LNG, now operating as United Energy LNG (UE LNG), signifies a major leap forward in catering to the small-scale LNG market in North America. With three LNG production sites in development, including locations in Houston, Texas, and Independence, Kansas, the combined entity leverages United Energy's operational expertise and Power LNG's engineering prowess to address the growing demand for clean energy solutions.

UE LNG's strategy emphasizes modular and scalable LNG production, aiming to provide a quicker, more economical alternative to traditional LNG projects. The company plans an investment of $240–270 million across its facilities, targeting breakeven within 12–18 months after commissioning. This initiative not only serves remote and underserved markets but also plays a crucial role in the energy transition by supplying clean-burning natural gas to various sectors.

With ambitions to finalize financial arrangements for its first three facilities by Q1 2026 and commence operations by Q1 2027, UE LNG is on track to establish a network of LNG hubs across the U.S. by 2028.
