Safe Pro AI Recognized by UN for Humanitarian Innovation in Landmine Detection

Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI), through its subsidiary Safe Pro AI, has been acknowledged for its innovative use of artificial intelligence in humanitarian efforts, specifically in detecting landmines in Ukrainian agricultural fields. This recognition comes as Safe Pro AI was named a finalist in the United Nations World Food Programme's Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator Innovation Weeks, standing out among 579 global submissions. The project not only represents the only U.S.-based AI solution selected but also competes for up to $150,000 in funding and a spot in a 12-month accelerator cohort.

The SPOTD platform, developed by Safe Pro, utilizes drone imagery and proprietary AI technology to identify over 150 types of threats. To date, it has analyzed more than 1.66 million images across 6,705 hectares in Ukraine. This initiative underscores Safe Pro's commitment to leveraging technology for humanitarian demining and improving global food security. The selection by the UN WFP emphasizes the critical role of advanced technologies in addressing the challenges posed by landmines in conflict-affected areas, particularly in Ukraine where agriculture and civilian safety are at risk.
