Genesis Inspiration Foundation Grants $50,000 to Broward Performing Arts Foundation

The Genesis Inspiration Foundation has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Broward Performing Arts Foundation, reinforcing its commitment to arts education. This generous donation, facilitated by Genesis Motor America and its South Florida dealers, is earmarked for education and enrichment programs at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. John Guastaferro, the executive director of the Genesis Inspiration Foundation, emphasized the foundation's focus on leveraging the arts to empower young individuals, highlighting the significant impact such programs have on youth development.

Senator George S. LeMieux, chair of the Broward Performing Arts Foundation Board, acknowledged the donation's role in benefiting more than 105,000 students annually. The funds will bolster the Broward Center's wide-ranging programming, arts-in-education efforts, and initiatives aimed at community engagement, all of which align with its overarching goal to educate and inspire through the performing arts.

The announcement was made at the Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center, a key venue for artistic learning and expression, where attendees were treated to a glimpse of summer camp activities and a performance by the Young Professionals student group. This center is instrumental in the Broward Center's educational outreach, offering programs designed to cater to participants of various age groups.

Since its inception in 1985, the Broward Performing Arts Foundation has played a vital role in sustaining the Broward Center's operations and programming.
